A quiet oasis At first we were a bit disappointed to not have a busy bustling street and many vendors at our doorstop having been to Bali several times and had gotten used to that constant hum of down town life. We caught taxis to our favourite down town locations then had a change of heart. We found some amazing local restaurants such as the Italian corner and the orchard bar. Breakfast at Singgah Bar and eatery was amazing. We embraced the local people and in the they welcomed us. We found a special connection and in the end that was the diamond in the rough. Lasanti villas are beautiful and peaceful and if that’s what you are looking for then hazar because you have struck gold.

Welcoming and friendly All staff are absolutely lovely going out of their way to ensure your stay is the best they can provide. The villas are a little dated, beds are very firm & the bath/shower is very high & awkward to get into. Tea & coffee is provided & powdered milk. There are no appliances other than a kettle & of course fridge. There is an onsite restaurant/bar with a fairly standard menu offering both Asian and Western options at reasonable prices. The spa is fantastic. Relax with a massage or facial at awesome prices. Each villa has a private pool which is quite deep & very clean, this was probably the best feature of the room. The resort

Amazing Private Villa and outstanding service We stayed at the Balu Nyuh Gading villas for 12 nights and the staff and management made us feel very special. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. During our first days we received the breakfast in our room and even once a floating breakfast in the pool. The rooms are very spacious and get cleaned every day (they always ask before you leave the villa, if the villa can be cleaned). We loved every single moment there. We will for sure be back the next time when in Bali.

Lovely place to stay Massive double bed, lovely pool, open air bath, shower and toilet (which was beautiful, it just took some getting used to), air con, microwave, fridge, very private from prying eyes. Choice of Indonesian style or western style breakfast. Friendly staff.

Awesome Bali Villa After staying a week in Legion it was time for a bit of a rest, we booked 4 nights at a villa on the outskirts of Ubud. Freddie’s is an absolute winner and perfect place to get away from the big city stuff. The bill we stayed in was a large one bedroom with ample room space and a great pool. The food was good and the staff were very polite and attentive. The location is only minutes from the Bali Zoo, Reptile Park and Bird Park.We really enjoyed Freddie’s and would highly recommend this place for a stay

Charming little hotel We LOVED Villa Del Mar. The room was cold, clean, and totally charming. There were amenities, a flat screen TV with HBO, complimentary bottled water, coffee, microwave and mini fridge. The pool was great and perfect to plunge into after walking around town. There is one delicious cafe after another along the street. The location is close to beach and all shopping areas are walkable. However, the STAFF is what truly makes this mid-luxury hotel outstanding. They are sincerely friendly, impeccably polite and truly accommodating- the best I’ve experienced in Bali!

Great Villa's, perfect location. 3rd visit to this resort. stayed for 5 night in the new Villa's, we prefer the older villa's. Our villa private pool didn't get enough sun & the covered day bed wasn't practical, 2 sun lounges would be a better choice. The large share pool was fabulous as well as the restaurant with great choice & price. The new Japanese restaurant Shichirin had just opened & was very tasty. Side Note: Canggu is just getting to busy, with not enough infrastructure on roads & footpaths.
